Our City Breaks

On one of our many visits over the years with Steve and Barbara, we talked about places we would love to go to. Right there and then we, the Brownes and the Greens, (known as the 'colours' by Mr Kisby), decided our first visit should be to NYC. So Easter 2006 saw us fly from Dublin to the Big Apple. We had an awesome time seeing all the sights and keeping a hilarious video diary every night. My favourite event was Steves first ever rowing experience in Central Park. Trev navigated, Steve rowed and me and Barbara enjoyed. Then we had a turn at rowing, with one oar each and dispite my best efforts, we just went round in circles. Trev was trying to coach Barbara how to row and yelling 'Deeper, deeper...' and we fell about laughing so hard we nearly lost the oars. I loved the craic, she was so much fun and we just got each others sense of humour. That first city break was followed by trips to Vienna, Berlin, Rome and Barcelona. All these cities were unique in their own way, but what was always the same was the friendship we shared, the fun we had and the Irish pubs which we always ended up in. Wonderful times which are now precious memories:)))))
