I was sent this message around the time my Mum passed away and I have never deleted it. It's from Connie at Studio Stereo where my Mum and I would have cleaned. I just wanted to personally contact you to tell you how sad we are that your mum is gone. We genuinely miss her around here. I just wanted to share something with you... for the longest time I have always used your Mum as an example (when sharing with our young people in church) as someone who lives out the love of Christ... long before we knew for sure that she was a Christian we had a feeling she was, because she was someone who had the most obvious Christ-like presence, a total servant heart. I have honestly shared about her with others who never met her, I'm sure she had not idea what a great ambassador she was. I'm sad I never got to tell her, but I wanted to tell you. Her example remains a daily challenge to me that I only hope I can live up to. She was an extraordinary lady, and I pray that the grief you are all feeling right now will be overcome with joy in the knowledge that she is with Him... home
